Yankees Clobber Sox
Friday, August 21, 2009. The New York Yankees got their three game series with the Boston Red Sox off to a great start by pounding out 23 hits in a 20-11 romp tonight in Fenway Park. One of the Yankees hitting heros was Hideki Matsui who collected seven rbi, six on his two home runs. Pettite didn’t have much, going only five plus innings but got the win.
