Bomber Pride

Sat.,May 9, 2009. The New York Yankees one game win streak ended as the Baltimore Orioles beat up on the Yankees and Phil Hughes 12-5.  Hughes was ineffective again, this time giving up eight runs before being pulled in the second inning, going only 1 2/3 innings. It was an ugly game for Yankee fans and hard to watch. Final box score: Yankees 5 runs, 6 hits, 1 error; Orioles 12 runs, 16 hits, 0 errors.  Nextt game: Sunday, May 10th, 1:35 PM, New York at Baltimore.
