Bob Sheppard to ‘Retire’
Yankees PA announcer Bob Sheppard says he will not be back with the New York Yankees but is not officially retiring. Sheppard has been the Yankees public address announcer since 1951. But he has not been to the new Yankees stadium, in fact, he has not worked since 2007 when he get ill.
